Priscilla Gould, who served as executive director of United Way of Lane County, was honored Friday night as Birth To Three’s “Champion of Children.”
She was United Way's executive director for 21 years, helping community leaders, volunteers, non-profits and others develop the skills to work together to solve big issues. “She has fought hardest,” says Birth To Three’s executive director, Minalee Saks, “for those who are most vulnerable and least fortunate, to help make a difference and help our community address homelessness, healthcare for everyone, and the needs of children.”
During her tenure at United Way of Lane County, Gould launched initiatives such as 100% Access, Cherish Every Child and Success By 6. She served on Birth To Three's Strategic Planning Committee.
