Children's Photo Contest Results Coming!

Awards for photos taken during the 27th annual Lane County Children’s Photo Contest will be announced on Saturday, May 7. The Contest benefits Birth To Three and judges expression, photography skill and the story told by the photo. It is not a beauty contest.

            The three professional photographers for the Contest were Bruce Berg (541-726-6119), Richard May (541-688-2565) and Joy Taubner (541-345-5745).

            The contest entry are displayed at Valley River Center, where the public gets to vote on the People's Choice Award winner.             

             Another special award is the Birth To Three Award. The winning photo will be displayed at Birth To Three for a year.

             The photo contest includes two style categories, traditional and storytelling, and six age groups: 3-12 months, 1-2 years, 2-3 years, 3-5 years, 6-12 years and siblings. All of the winners will be announced at 11 a.m. at Valley River Center on Saturday, May 7.
