Healthy Start/Healthy Families of Lane County
Your world has changed! Your first baby brings new joys and challenges to your family, and Lane County Healthy Start/Healthy Families at Parenting Now! is here to support you.
HealthyStart/Healthy Families at Parenting Now! is a voluntary, free parenting education program for first-time parents who qualify. Our services promote healthy child development and strengthen families through regularly scheduled home visits. The visits may begin prenatally or until your baby is 3 months old. The visits continue weekly or monthly until your child is 3 years old.
If your family is eligible, you will receive home visiting by professional family support workers. They offer Spanish or English language information about parenting, health, safety and child development. Healthy Start/Healthy Families at Parenting Now! also provides group activities, referral information and books for your child.
Healthy Start/Healthy Families at Parenting Now! is part of the national Healthy Families America Network of home visiting programs.
