Activities & Events
Child-oriented programs and events in our area. There’s a list for parent activities, too! While it is no longer updated regularly, many of the activities are recurring events and great for parents and children.

Baby Connection
Drop in for a weekly opportunity for families with new babies to meet other families, weigh babies and consult with a lactation specialist to learn about feeding. Take home a free photo of your child or use it in a craft project. Housed at Birth To Three and staffed by community volunteers and Birth To Three, Baby Connection is offered Wednesdays, 11 am - Noon. No fee.
Children’s Program
Offered to Birth To Three group participants with children 12 months and older. Includes creative activities, playtime with developmentally appropriate toys, music and socialization. Included with group enrollment. Call 541-484-5316 for more information or send us an e-mail.
Healthy Start/Healthy Families at Birth To Three
Voluntary, on-going home visiting program for first-time parents of newborns. Family Support Workers provide parenting education, referral information and support on a weekly/monthly basis until the child is 3 years old. Free to qualified applicants. Playtime for Parents and Children
Scheduled playtimes for families with infants and young children up to 5 years. Parents and children play, meet other families, use library of books and magazines. Playtime is held weekly, Mondays from 10 am – noon. Nominal fee. Call 541-484-5316 for more information or send us an e-mail.
Pregnancy and Postpartum Stress Support (WellMama)
A safe and supportive environment for sharing your feelings and concerns about pregnancy, the first year after giving birth, and adoptive parenting! You will learn skills to help you cope, reduce anxiety, set realistic expectations, and ask for what you need. Offered by WellMama, www.wellmamaoregon.org, on the first Tuesday each month, 10:30 am - noon at Birth To Three; first and third Thursday evenings, 6:15 - 7:45 p.m., 1034 Lawrence St. in Eugene. No fee.
